students should also be aware of the possible negative impacts of the use of technology, e.g Cyber Bullying, and be able to develop strategies for its responsible use

students should be able to transfer existing skills and prior knowledge in order to deal with new technologies

students should be aware that technological resources are but one way of communicating knowledge, and be able to discern the most appropriate medium of information for the task at hand

Define Technology:
Enduring Understandings (expand and re-word into a Philosophy?)
Learning is a life-long process, and the pace of technological change requires us to focus on learning how to learn, relearn and unlearn, rather than on specific technologies or tools.
As a community we need to develop behaviours and attitudes and a sense of accountability, as we collaborate with others in the exchange of information.
Global collaboration requires effective communication, an awareness of cultural diversity, and social responsibility.
More specifically:We beleive Literacy includes not just reading, writing etc, but including Technological competenceWe beleive that Technology is a critical aspect of our lives
Webeleive that teachers and students should learn how to meet the demands of this changing world
Distinguish between "can do" and "believe"
